Martin Marrufo started his comedy career in 2014 in the sleepy little town of Cotati, CA. Since then, Marty has performed regularly at the Punch Line San Francisco comedy club. Martin has also performed at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco and appeared in the 2024 SF Sketchfest Comedy Festival. When Martin isn't performing on stage, he streams every Tuesday and Thursday on Twitch under the  moniker FriarMurphy. Drawing from his life experiences, from growing up as a chubby Latino kid in LA to his current life among the craziness of the SF Bay Area, Marty invites you to join him while he laments, celebrates, and eviscerates life's absurdities.

Martin has hosted and produced comedy shows at the Rincon Valley Tap Room and Bottle Shop in Santa Rosa, CA, as well as the Flagship Taproom in Cotati, CA.
